HBFC Pakistan- to Provides “Opportunity” not “Charity” for poor housing

A 15-page presentation by the House Building Finance Corporation of Pakistan about its objective and objectivity, and its plan to be a pro-poor organization by initiating the following steps, which fell into the deaf ear of the government: “Sponsor a Shelter Foundation” (to use official Zakat Fund to solve very poor’s housing problem; “Social Housing Bank” (to handle micro finance for housing); “Social Housing Company” (to arrange micro-housing as against market housing).
